It starts with awareness and education on the importance of our ecosystem and social context.
We protect our environment, use resources sparingly, and avoid and reduce stress on people and the environment in order to preserve it for future generations. Internal and external communication of our environmental protection commitment is important to us.
In product development and design, in manufacturing, in packaging and shipping, and in process setup and improvement, we take into account the need for an intact environment. Hirtenberger Group companies are certified to ISO 14001.
Continuous improvement of environment-related aspects of business processes, environmental consequences and environmental performance is an important goal for us. From our vendors, at the minimum we expect compliance with all personal and environmental protection legislation. All employees are responsible for environmental protection in the Hirtenberger Group and are included in the continuous improvement process.
If environmental problems arise, the responsible parties in the company are informed immediately and comprehensively so that they can initiate emergency measures without delay.
